A kaleidoscope of colors
Images
flashing, flickering
taunting and teasing

A cacophony of sound
Voices
competing, talking faster
over one another now

The mind
races to keep up
but descends into numbness

Thought
cannot survive

Life
is easier now
awash in chaos
